smallish screen, as a music player, <$200, which model?

#1 Post by gychang » Wed Feb 11, 2009 3:26 pm

I will be using it for rare web surfing but primarily as a music player (will be using it with SB Live! USB - requires PIII, 800mHz CPU) to play my .flac files thru my stereo.

I need 12", USB (does NOT have to be 2.0, 1.1 works fine), don't have to have CD, but with PIII CPU. Which model is reasonable with funds available <$200...?

Is this achievable?

thanks,

gychang

From the requirements you list and only going by what I've owned and used, an X22 would work (800Mhz/640MB/no embedded Ultrabay/some even with wireless built-in). Assuming that your "12 inch" spec is a minimum, then you could also consider a T21, T22 or T23 (13.3" or 14.1" screens). I'm pretty sure that you could find those systems in your price range.
