x200 and external monitor causing crash

#1 Post by kchung » Wed Feb 11, 2009 6:55 pm

My company is testing x200 laptops with 22 and 24 LCD screens and we're getting BSODs when switching to any mode which activates the external display (external only, clone mode, extend the desktop). This is with the display connected to the Ultrabase.

Sorry, I don't have the exact BSOD message. Any one seen this and possibly have a solution?

I have the exact same problem with my X200. I've upgraded all the drivers, but it crashes every time I unplug the external LCD. I don't know what causes it, so I don't use an external driver for now. :(

You're a savior. Thanks!

I just installed the patch, restarted my machine, and I'm now using 2 monitors.
