I am writing some software for work and in the 7 years i've been programming i have never once used a database. can anyone help me out with basic info?
I would like a standalone easy to use design that wont require server\client functions.
anyone got any suggestions? i tend to use sample programs to learn.

I evaluated a lot of them about two years ago, and settled for MyDataBase
