stupid question: If you have a very busy background image (like the nuclear one or the star one) with a lot of kbs does it have an impact on performance?

Edit: Redone the links due to a Google Screw up

Here are two desktop pictures. The one that looks like OS X is a screen shot of my old 600E running Fly a Kite OS X. The other desktop screen shot is my current desktop.

In control panel there is a short cut to the network and sharing center, I use it a lot so i made it a desktop shorcut and renamed it.

BlueDevilTide, what is the name of that weather widget you have on your desktop, I can't seem to find it in yahoo's gallery. I like that one better than the one Yahoo provides.

I made a few ThinkPad icons for my ObjectDock, so feel free to use them. I think they look great :wink:

Those of you running object dock without any taskbar...how do you deal without a system tray? I had a docklet for it but it felt kinda cheap.

This is on my desktop. 19" CRT MAG 996PF.

No, I don't normally run it at this resolution. I only did this to see if I could still read something. Turns out I could.

But I'm not going to strain myself on a regular basis with it. Not to mention that it only does it at 60Hz.

@dr_st

Which language is that? Armenian?
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
