How to keep screen bright at low battery?
is there a setting that makes the screen stay maximum bright all the way down to 1% battery? (t41) thanks.

If yours isnt staying the same brightness, you probably have it automatically go to low brightness when it reaches a certain point. Go through the Battery MaxiMiser wizard and change the setting.

Be warned though, I believe the Bios settings makes "brightest" while on battery as bright as it is on AC (it normally is not quite as bright). This will definitely impact your battery life even more.

That depends completely on your definition of "best." For best battery life, normal. For best balance between battery life and brightness, probably normal. For best brightness without regard to battery life, high.budspencer wrote: what is the best setting? normal or high? can anyone speak from it's own experience??
