SOLD: High end, nicely spec.'d, high resolution, fastest CPU originally offered, T41 in excellent condition.

This machine had the loose GPU issue, but I sent it out for professional repair and it now works perfectly. See this link for much more info on the repair (and the quote below) --> http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=72974

We did a complete remove, reball and replacement of the existing GPU on the logic board. The entire GPU has new solder balls on it therefore the solder joints/connections from the GPU to the solder pads on the logic board are new.

The operating condition is perfect, no issues at all. The battery is in excellent shape, lasts approximately 3 hours. There are only minor cosmetic issues, 1) slight keyboard shine, 2) a couple of scratches on the cover, 3) two very small gray spots on the LCD at the bottom, light background required to find spots - see high resolution pictures below! No surface scuffs at all on the LCD, it's gorgeous.

Bump with price reduction from $300 to $265. I'm going to say it's a pretty good value for $265.

I'd love to sell it to you, and if you use PayPal, I can include a receipt, however, I recommend checking out the Lenovo Outlet. They have very nice, low cost machines. The prices and inventory changes frequently, but some dip into the $400 range. All have receipts and warranties!
