Hi all,
I have a T42p with 14" 1400x1050 (beautiful!). I am happily using it with a Dell 2001fp 20" 1600x1200 display, using a minidock, and DVI. The IBM driver works fine at the higher res - I haven't upgraded video driver, just using the driver that came with it.
But... when I dock, it doesn't autoswitch, despite selecting that option on Presentation Manager. Should I expect it to work as I anticipate? I'd like it to auto-switch to external 1600x1200 when I dock, and auto-switch back to internal 1400x1050 when I undock.
Many thanks - firstly for all the help you've all provided via this website (thanks Bill!) and secondly for any pointers re: my problem.

Weird; my T43 switches between 3 distinct setups (docked to DVI 2001FP with the external LCD primary and T43 LCD secondary, connected to analog E173FP secondary with T43 LCD primary, and T43 LCD only) and it handles pretty much all the switching automatically without any setup (although sometimes it takes a bit for the switch to kick in).
Usually I'm too impatient anyway and i will hit Fn-F7 once when my TP is undocked; that immediately brings up the LCD for me.
