T400 Turbo Cache Memory Problems After reinstall

hi i am new too this forum and well too lenovos i bought a t400 from a friend and i reinstalled vista business on it. problem is that before i reinstalled the os i had a intel turbo cache console installed in the machine, and now i dont and i cant even find any reference to the 2g turbo chip in device manager. to be honest i was in the bios too turning stuff off and i may have turned it off from there. have any of u guys ever came accross this or have i messed it up installin the os.
