Hard Lock With Ethernet BIOS-enabled on X32

#1 Post by mini_g » Fri Feb 20, 2009 1:08 am

I was wondering as to if anyone has dealt with Debian & Ubuntu kernels, post-2.6.20, hard-locking when the ethernet is enabled.

I've not yet tested other distros.

I have the no-1802 patch applied to the BIOS (Version 3.02). I have not tested it without.

It works in Windows 2k.

When the ethernet is BIOS-disabled, it does not hard-lock.

Using a USB Wifi card does not cause issue either.
