Problem with ThinkPad R60e - "Rescue and Recovery 3"

#1 Post by gabi » Tue Feb 24, 2009 2:15 pm

Hi, I have a problem with my ThinkPad R60e. I tried to recover my hard drive to the original state (mode). I tried to recover the system with the ThinkVantage Rescue and Recovery 3 and I've chosen the "Hard Drive to Original" option to complete a full recovery but after that, the system ask for a new recovery disc, and I don't have it. It's the step 17 on this link:

What can I do in order to obtain this CD?

Thanks

To obtain a set of product recovery CD's / DVD simply call tech support and request them. They are about $45 - $50 for the set. I have done this and been very pleased at how fast they are shipped out, I just received a set last week for one of my ThinkPads in just 4 days. Call +1 (800) 426-7378 be prepared to give them the machine type and serial number which you will find on the bottom of your ThinkPad.

Cheers...
