Interesting video. For information, they should indicate the model of the laptop that was damaged in the incident.

if you read the fine print at the end of the video, it mentions that these are actually dramatizations and based loosely (sp?) on submitted information

funny video, I actually know of someone who ran his over with his car. He had accidental and wanted a new one at the end of his warranty. They just replaced the lcd, the thinkpad survived! Amazing stuff.

I did the EXACT SAME THING as the paramedic, and ran over my thinkpad. The screen was cracked, the fan a little crushed (noisy and still spinning), but the machine still booted!

I want to find a Thinkpad in the middle of the woods!

I wonder if there was a small ecosystem living in there when the kid found it.

Gives new meaning to the phrase Biometric Security. :)
