Access Connections fails to apply profile

Hi all

On a brand new X301 I have a problem with Access Conenctions, it is set to apply two profiles: my home net and company net under locations switching. However very often it just start up access connection in the system tray buy no profile is applied....

Then I can manually apply afterwards but that is what I am trying to avoid


Any good suggestions how to avoid this

Maybe I´m wrong but this is how I understand AC: if AC can apply profiles automatically, why bothering creating any... In other words, one creates profiles to switch between different networks. If AC was able to automatically do that, then there wouldn´t probably have been any need for it.

The problem is that AC do not automatically apply my profile when my laptop is started.

I want AC to startup with the computer aplly work profile and if I am at work connect, if I am at home it should skip my work profile and apply home profile all automatically.

Now the computer oftem just starts up with connection to the wireless, then I have to do the connection manually by right click the AC icon and apply the selected profile

You can try uninstalling and reinstalling Access Connections, but that may not solve your problem. I have two profiles enabled: Default wired and Home wireless. Default wired always connects. My home wireless connects most of the time (8 times out of 10). But it has never been perfect. .... JDH
