speakers on t40p

im suspecting one (how many speakers does the t40p have?) of my speakers has gone dead... is there any way to check on this? the config utility doesnt have any function for that, as i recall...

It has two speakers and you can test them easily by playing a CD or DVD and shifting the balance left to right in the volume control in XP.
