Bluetooth Devince Not Found on T400

#1 Post by stsanche » Fri Feb 27, 2009 4:05 pm

I have a T400 running Windows XP. My Bluetooth Places and Bluetooth devices didn't show up so I installed "Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software II" Now my Bluetooth Places shows up, but it says "Bluetooth Device Not Found". When I click Fn + F5 I don't see any Bluetooth Radios, I only see the 802.11 Radio. The bluetooth radio doesn't show in the device manager either. In the device manager under Bluethooth Devices, there is only a Bluetooth Bus Emulator.

It almost looks like the Bluetooth hardware isn't there or recoginized. How do I get the Bluetooth device to run?

Also, you can try uninstalling the driver and let windows find a driver.
