If you have an on-site warranty, they are supposed to service the machine at place for no fee or whatsoever. However, it´s not always possible to solve the problem without additional equipment, which is available only in repair depots, but again you should be able to send the laptop in at no costs for you.

That's what a warranty is for.

Welcome to forum! I believe the OP´s question was specifically referring to the on-site type of warranty, not just warranty...

I think that if you didn't buy onsite warranty, they won't service you on site, not for free, and not for a fee. However, as said, they should always (at least in the US) provide you with boxes for free shipping to and from the depot.
