Replace Fan Error

Finally my fan gave in and died and i knew about it, received "Fan Error" twice then shuts off the third time the fan misfied but is still not working then windows booted up. I'm dam sure not gonna run it. I'm out of warranty my best bet buy parts, shet i might as well upgrade CPU. Also upon my search i've read the error could possibly be BIOS problem

Ok, a 7662 model is a T61 14.1" Widescreen with a discrete GPU. The correct FAN part# is (toshiba) 42W2462 or (furukawa) 44C0557. Is there any warranty left on this machine?
