Sound Card Help, Please!

Hey guys, hope you can help.
I've been doing more and more digital music creation lately, and want to be able to output my work, at high quality, to some speakers. I'd also like the card to have a headphone out. Is it possible to upgrade the sound card of my x61s? Or am I stuck because it's integrated audio? I was thinking about using a external, usb powered sound card, but I'm trying to avoid tying up usb ports. Any suggestions? Thanks!

It is not possible to upgrade the internal sound on an X61s.
