New T42 UC2M1UK

Just received my UC2M1UK (1.8/1024/80 gb/SXGA+). The only thing that bothered me when looking to purchase was XGA V SXGA+. Don't know why I bothered to worry - the SXGA+ screen is fantastic....

When I look at my spare Tecra (same 14.1" screen but XGA) it looks so blocky and big. I think this res just takes a couple of days to get used to....but I am glad I went for it! Shame about the seven week lead time on these models., that's the only problem here in UK.

Build wise, this notebook is a cut above. I looked at Sony Vaios, Tosh Tecras, Fujis; nothing comes close to this beast. Best keyboard I have ever used on a notebook, and over all performance (for business use - I am in IT) is much higher than all our same spec Tosh notebooks.
