T40 DVD Burner

Hi,

presently my T40 is equipped with a DVD/CD reader HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8083N.

I want to replace it with a brand new DVD Burner.
I read a lot in the forum and seen various suggestion, but I must admit, I am lost.

I want to use my curved bezel and somewhere in the forum I found that the Matshita UJ-842
39T2729 = 40Y8622 is what I should look for..correct

Now, if I go on an IBM shop online, with those P/Ns, such a burner costs a little fortune

Which brand should I be looking for online?
I mean, probably the burner is produced by Toshiba, or LG or more well known brands, but I do I know if they fully respond to what I need, especially if I want to transfer the plastic curved bazel and mount it on the new DVD burner.

As you can see I am a bit lost and really would appreciate your help.
