You probably have your reasons why you want this particular drive. But you know that any 2.5" pata drive will work in the T42, right? Modern 250GB or 320GB 5400 rpm drives should be as fast as (if not faster than) the one you are looking for and may be even cheaper.

Just to add acomment to basketb's comment above, and not intending to turn this "WTB"-thread into a discussion (which would e.g. belong in the T4x-subforum), I only want to point your attention to the threads T42 replacement HDD - sata interface ok and 320GB pata drive? and Hitachi website - 7K100, 100 GB PATA HD is unavailable and Western Digital Scorpio 2.5" 5400 Hard Drives..Any Opin where you will read much about alternatives to the 2.5" 7200 rpm PATA HDD's which have been out of production for a year or so. Although you may still be able to find 2.5" 7200 rpm PATA HDD's around (but that's not easy, believe me - and they are most likely not new, hence less reliably), you may want to consider getting one of the newer 5400 rpm PATA's, which run almost as fast as their older 7200 rpm cousins.
Just a friendly hint; you will get far more "GB-per-dollar" with a newer 5400 rpm 2.5" PATA HDD compared to an used (or even a new, if available) 7200 rpm one.

Re: WTB: HDD for T42, FRU 13N6807
As a user T42p with Samsung 160HC Pata HDD, I strongly recommend this fast, quiet, stable HDD.
Its transfer rate is about 50mb/s which is much faster than Hitachi 60GB 7200rpm model, 30~35mb/s.
You can easily get this Samsung 160GB HDD at ebay around $60. It's a good bargain.
