T Question
T Question
You guys think that the T- 2378DWU model will drop much more in price, its currently 1439.10, also looking at the R- 1836Q4U for 1124.10. I know most everyone here is a T fan so in comparison Is the 315.00 extra for the T that much more worth it?

Yeah, I think its probably worth it. The T-series model is made with an alloy case designed by IBM in Japan, parts made in China. On the other hand, the R-series is made mostly of plastic and is made/assembled by a third party Taiwanese company contracted by IBM.
On a side note, the budget laptops from IBM, Sony, HP, Dell, Toshiba, etc are all made by the same Taiwanese company, and then they are "branded". At least, thats what a little birdie told me

Also the the DWU is a 705 chip and the R is the new Donthan chip
Also checking today and looking at the specs the R has the cardbus slot, and both have different options for hard drives, is that extra or can you pick which one you want for that price
