IBM ThinkPad T41 " Laptop freeze when moved"

I own a IBM ThinkPad T41 and had it for many years. The laptop turns on and runs fine but if I want to pick it up it will freeze and then have to press and hold the power button until it shuts off. I can move the laptop aslong as its on a flat surface, but can't ever pick it up without it freezing.

... you may also want to see this post containing some very recent information about how to get yout ThinkPad back to a stable live. Does not have to cost very much! If you want to try repair it yourself, see the sticky GUIDE: Reflow GPU fix - although I'd personally choose the Superior Reball route, given that it is so cheap for you fellows in the USA.
