t42 2373 recovery

I initiated the recovery process with the 1 boot CD and 7 recovery CDs. After the last CD was complete, it booted into R&R. I took the CD out, restart the computer and it would continue to boot to R&R and not windows.

Any idea? I went through the same process with my x60 (with only 6 total CDs) and it would boot into windows and continue configuration after the last CD.

Please help.

I remember doing this once and getting confused during the process, too. The initial installation from the set of discs is to create the recovery partition. It might seem as if you're done at that point, but you actually then have to install everything from the recovery partition onto your main partition. Get into R&R and you should be able to figure it out.
