How to find ThinkPad-specifications on Lenovo.com?

Friends:

Hitherto I have always used the "Search"-field directly on IBM's homepage when wanting to find the main-specifications of whatever ThinkPad, such as e.g. T42 2373-N1U. Unfortunately, this functionality has recently stopped to work... IBM has apparently ported all ThinkPad-specifications to Lenovo's homepage, and much unfortunately I am however not able to use Lenovo.com's "search" with any particular success. So, my question is: How do I go about finding specifications now, for, say, 2373-Q1U? If I use the Search-field at Lenovo.com, this is what I find: No results were found for your search "2373-Q1U".

How to retrieve these ThinkPad data/specifications from now on?? Thanks in advance to anyone who has a clever trick!

Thanks, g06o, good idea (which I however already had thought of!)... but the problem is: How do you remember this address, on a daily basis, if working on different PC's, and not wanting to be dependent on some bookmark?? There is no way I could remember that, so I need some simple strategy... like e.g. going to ibm.com and use the "Search"-filed (which used to work). There HAS be a simpler way... otherwise all those who need to look up these specifications "on the fly" won't be able. There HAS to be a way!!

Add the Lenovo MTM search to google;

While that also requires adding a plug-in (and assumes that you are using Firefox), this should work:

- go to http://www.lenovo.com
- hover over "Support" in the top title bar
- click on "Downloads & drivers"
- in the "Quick path" box at the top right, enter in the MTM

Actually that Lenovo MTM Google search is supported in IE7 too.

Ah, didn't know that! But it still requires remembering that mozdev URL and installing a plug-in (possibly on someone else's computer). Given Johan's requirements of a simple, easy-to-remember process that can be done on any computer, hopefully the Quick Path solution will work.

Took me a few minutes to find an easy way to get to the Quick Path entry box. The way I do my look ups is by a bookmark (which I've set on all of my regularly used systems) that is like g06o's URL. I then simply edit the end of the URL with the MTM and submit it.
