Fingerprint software on 7057?

I *swore* this worked under build 7000. I may have even used it under 7048.

When I try to run the Fingerprint software, it crashes with this error:

It's just a "DLL Not Found" error. It doesn't say what DLL though.

Anyone know what file its looking for?

Everything else so far works great under Windows 7 / 7057.

I had the same problem and solved it by uninstalling the fingerprint reader software and drivers and then reverting back to an older version of the reader software (ver 5.6)

You'll find it towards the bottom of this page:

Note: This is for the 32 bit version of Windows.....not the 64.

5.6 looks a little dated, but it does work! Thanks!

Again, I swore the latest (5. worked with build 7000. I wonder what changed to make it not work now.

I'm glad you could at least get it working. I'm pretty sure you are right about things working in the 7000 build....I ran into the same problem when I changed to the 7057 version.

7061 is supposedly making the rounds now, so I'll be trying that out.

I started with a fresh format and build 7000, then an upgrade to 7048, then 7057.

Each upgrade has been pretty painless.
