Re: OCZ Core 64GB SSD $150 OBO Each!
Are these SLC or MLC? Any problems with stuttering under XP or under Vista? If not, I'll take one. If so, what needs to be done to get the computer to function okay?
Thanks,

These are MLC. Under XP they are reported to exhibit that sluttering, not sure it there is a fix for this. For more information refer to OCZ support forum. Under Vista there are too a few adjustments that need to be made for optimal performance.JBuzzard wrote:Are these SLC or MLC? Any problems with stuttering under XP or under Vista? I used these in 2 different systems running XP with no problems, I did the tweaks for XP and vista as a precautionary measure.
One was a netbook running XP, VISTA, and Ubuntu.
Toine, YES, you can use them in a T60P, actually had one in my T60P until I filled it up.
Please use the email address vincentfarrand @ laser-connection . com if you have questions for me, I only check here a few times a week, if that...

I had one in my T61p until I replaced it with an X25M.
I've never had a stuttering issue with them, and I'm still running one in my netbook. Fast drives, my NC10 boots faster than any of my other PCs.
