bent pins on ethernet port

I managed to screw up the pins on the ethernet port on my t400. As best as I can tell the ethernet jack is soldered directly to the system board and cannot be replaced individually.

I'm wondering if anyone can confirm this for me? I fear I'll be buying a new system board just to get the port fixed

If the pins are just bent they can be straightened. If they are broken then a new system board is required. Another alternative is an Ethernet PC Card.
