HD comes loose

#1 Post by charlier1226 » Sun Mar 29, 2009 4:23 pm

I keep having to re-seat the HD in my X31. It seems that the HD isn't staying plugged in, and when I push in on the caddy cover, it seems to work again. How can I get it to stay in?

Is the plastic HDD cover cracked? I had to replace mine as it cracked near the screw which is offset at one end.

This could appear to be a silly question, but ... is the retaining screw on the HDD "foot" screwed all the way down?
