New Bluetooth firmware? **BT phone help**

#1 Post by Logi7 » Thu Jan 27, 2005 8:19 pm

Im using the widcomm drivers and am playing around with my mobile phone though the audio gateway; but im having a lot of trouble with the audio quality. It seems to cut off for fraction of a second very frequently

others using the same phone and drivers are not having this problem, thus i suspect is haev something to do with our BT chip - so im just wondering if theres any firmware upgrades available?

or our chip model number so i can try and trck it down myself

I know the chip is made by cmabridge silicon radio - but i dont know the model

also - if anybody is using a Sony Ericson with bluethooth i suggest you check out : http://fma.sourceforge.net/index2.htm (worsk best for SE T610-ish phones , im using a T637)

amazing stuff!
you can control your computer (and spec programs, power point, winamp..etc) as well as make your computer lock when u walk away and stuff

I have seen some generic CSR bluecore 2 firmwares floating on the web.

Are you using Widcomm 1.4.3.4? Perhaps you can try the new Widcomm v4.0 bluetooth stack.
