Power Option and Display Questiosn

#1 Post by ian12345 » Tue Mar 31, 2009 9:52 am

Could someone explain when I click the power icon on the taskbar and 3 options come up

Energy Star
Power Saver
High Performance

What does each mean? How do I toggle the graphic modes?

The options displayed are the available power plans. If you double click on the taskbar icon, Power Manager should open.

Alternatively, you can open it by going to the ThinkVantage folder on your Start Menu - All Programs and clicking on Power Manager.

Cheers,

I don't have a switchable graphics ThinkPad but I think I read somewhere that you have to click the icon with right mouse button, not with the left. A different menu pops up then, see if the option is there.
