How to see if mouse has warranty

#1 Post by arlab » Thu Apr 02, 2009 5:02 am

Hi. I have a Thinkpad Bluetooth Mouse that isn't working well. How can I see if it has warranty?

Well, it has a 1 year limited warranty. So if your invoice from Lenovo shows it was purchased within the last year it is covered. I don't think there is a way to 'look it up' with peripherals like mice.

Sometimes, when I press a button, the click isn't detected by the computer. I've searched the web and it seems to be happening a lot to Thinkpad Bluetooth Mouse users... :-(

I'll check the invoice then (eBay invoice also counts, right?)

You'd have to ask Lenovo about the 'Ebay invoice'. I suspect that they will not accept it as proof of purchase, but surprise us...

Did you ever find a solution for the click register problem? I've been having the same issue with my mouse, and it's very frustrating. Driver updates/cleaning haven't worked. Thanks.
