T400/T500 Intregrated Graphics DVI / DisplayPort Experience?

Do you have a T400 or T500 with integrated Intel X4500MHD graphics* connected through DVI or DisplayPort to an external monitor? If so, will you please take a minute or two to answer a few questions about your setup and experience?

The purpose is to help Lenovo troubleshoot and fix a problem that prevents some DVI and/or DisplayPort external monitors from working with some T400 / T500's.

Please include the following information:

• 1. ThinkPad Model type (4 digits from sticker on bottom of ThinkPad)
  2. BIOS version (press F1 after boot to get to BIOS Setup screen, BIOS version is shown about 1/3 way down the screen)
  3. Connection type: DisplayPort or DVI (Advanced Dock or Advanced Mini Dock)
  4. Attached external monitor: brand, model number, native resolution, EDID if you have it
  5. In BIOS Setup, if you select Config: Display: Boot Display Device: Digital(DisplayPort) or Digital(DVI) as appropriate, does your ThinkPad display the boot screen on your external digital monitor?
  6. What OS are you running, and does your external digital monitor function properly?
  7. Any other comments about your setup/experience.

* Please don't respond to this thread if your T400 / T500 has discrete or switchable graphics. You're of course free to start your own thread about those, but let's keep this thread for integrated graphics only, please.
