on screen menu?

#1 Post by pete0r » Fri Jan 28, 2005 8:57 am

hi there,

i just reinstalled windows and i'm trying to figure out how to get the on screen menus back.. for when i change the brightness on the display, or press the volume keys.

also, the volume keys don't seem to be doing much.. any suggestions?

i already installed presentation director, but that didn't do anything for on screen menus.

thanks!

P-

You need to install the Keyboard Customizer Utility, as I believe that has the On-screen display items you're looking for. In fact, I believe the latest version of the Battery Maximizer installed the on-screen display, and power management driver as well.

you know how when you choose battery saver, it should take the brightness down to 3? mine doesn't :( any ideas?
