LCD Inverters need to know if you can Sub parts?

#1 Post by cybercorsair » Sat Apr 11, 2009 3:20 pm

Hi I think i just order the wrong inverter on that system i have down but I am not sure

Thinkpad A31 2652 M3U SXGA+ 62P9871 FRU 62P9872 but the one I order is
A31 62P9872 91P7857 and I think from what i can tell is a SXGA inverter but not for the plus. I saw my mistake and tried to contact the seller but no one has gotten back and it should have been before they sent the order but if i get can it used on this laptop or should I return it? I think i know the answer but i need to check.

I am hoping to be able to contact the seller and stop the order but if not i will contact paypal as I do not like online store that do not contact you back fast.

I am searching hi and low for the right inverter and hope to get one soon I know i had booked marked the right one but I am thinking they may have sold out and I got the wrong one when I came back to search and order and didn't check the FRU as it had been right the time before on the site(DUMB!!) need to not order thing with out checking 100% the part and FRU # BTW if I do end up with the part any need that inverter? it was like $21,98 as there was no tax and no shipping on it.

Ok I off to bang my head against a wall again luckily this wasn't $80 to $100 order screw up(did one wrong order for $80 and lost 20% on re-stock fee last month and i didn't even open the box )

Ok thanks all
