Need help here with possible X200 Tablet vs X301

#1 Post by Greg Gebhardt » Mon Apr 13, 2009 6:18 am

Am wanting to give up my X301 for the X200 tablet. Has anyone done this and can give me their opinions.

How is the screen? Does the loss of an inch cause you to scroll the screen more often. How about the quality, I know none of the screens are worth bragging about these days but is it as sharp and clear as the x301 just smaller?

How about the keyboard, does not look like I am loosing anything here?

Performance? Is the X200 a little bit snappier than the X301? I could use a little less waiting but for most of the time the X301 is OK. I had one of Lenovo's early tablets and it was SLOW! I think mainly from the hard drive but it was slow!

I have the 128gb SSD, should I get that option on the X200 or go with a conventional drive.

Please help convice me that I will be happy with the X200 over my X301 as I would love to use the tablet funtion in the field.

and THANKS

All tablet screens have the superior ips (flexview) panel. The x200 tablet should have a much superior display quality than the (inferior) non-ips x301 display.

You are correct there. The difference is night and day! I can not believe how saturated the colors are compared to my X301. Performance is much better, too!

I do miss my touchpad, but then again the screen IS a touchpad! This is so much better than the last tablet from Lenovo!
