Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (XP) - freebies

I was using Windows Update in XP this morning (Custom option). One of the updates that was offered was the Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool. I've seen this before, and did not really expect anything different. Surprisingly after installing it, I got the offers below.

I was given the option to download and install:
Windows Media Player 11 (already had)
Windows Defender
Photo Story 3 for Windows
Windows Nunavut Theme
* Nunanut - Nature - Animals
* Nunavut - Local Feel
* Nunavut - Historical Monuments
* Nunavut - Nature

They are optional downloads. Nobody is forcing this on anyone.
