OK, I know some guys have brought up this issue before but can I just check with anyone (perhaps from where I come from - Singapore) whether if we purchase the 3 year extended warranty ('3 year depot') from the USA when we order from Lenovo/USA, the warranty is internationally recognised? Will Lenovo/Singapore recognise the IWS extended warranty?
What should be my best course of action to have a peace of mind?

Re: Extended International Warranty?
Welcome to the forum!
IWS is entirely dependent on the model number of the given machine, and local practices.
A smart way of going about this would be to contact IBM/Lenovo in Singapore and start asking questions...

I've heard from another forum that if the machine is a CTO (customised to order), the extended warranty will not be honoured

Re: Extended International Warranty?
That should not be the case, since it's the model number (2653, 2373, 4052...etc.) that is used to determine the machine's eligibility for service in the given region.
