Hi guys.. i am newbie here..

I have a huge problem and i really dont know what to do..

When i boot my laptop i see the IBM icon and then the screen turns red and than no more lights!! i already changed the inverter but the problem is still there.. :(
I used an external monitor and everything is ok..

I can use the small light in the top of my screen pressing Fn+PGup.

Welcome to our forum.
The reddish screen you are seeing at boot-up means that you have to replace the [CCFL or backlight] of your LCD.
On this website you can find all the instructions and they also sell the parts:

Don't know if there is anyone in Greece that can do it for you, if you are not able to do this yourself.
The alternative is buying a new (or good used) LCD or whole lid.
If you want a new LCD or lid, you need to know the size (14.1" or 15") and resolution (XGA 1024x768 or SXGA+ 1400x1050).
