Is my R32 saveable?

#1 Post by nickravo » Sat Jan 29, 2005 9:08 pm

My tech told me that the raason I can no longer charge any battery I try (but it works plugs in fine) is because of something on the system board and it will cost me $600 to learn more and probably repair and replace. Well the machine is two years old, not on warranty. This prognosis make sense? Is there are market to sell a laptop that doesnt run on battery? I have Office, Quark and Photoshop in it. Might make a nice small desktop. Thoughts?

If you could try another battery you might be back in business. Also, you might try another AC adapter. Those at least would be the cheapest fixes and could possibly work.

Those were among the many obvious possible solutions we tried. And none worked.
