240x Drivers in 7057

Having issues getting drivers working for sound and the IR port.. everything else's working fine-
stock 96mb ram errored on boot, 192mb runs just fine
using an old spare 16gb ssd i had sitting around as boot drive

Anyone else have experience with 7 or vista (will that even boot in this low ram?) on the 240/240x
