Audio HICCUPS playing VOB files
Audio HICCUPS playing VOB files
I’m using an X31 as a travel companion. It has Windows XP Pro/SP3 and 2G RAM. It works well for WiFi and storing photos downloaded from the digital camera, or as the screen of a GPS if driving a rental. Recently copied four DVD films I made from original family movies taken with a still camera and transfered to VOB files on a 16 G SDHC, then inserted it into a USB connector. The idea was to watch a movie without using the hard drive. Visually there’s no complaint, but the audio has the hiccups now and again. The sound stops briefly every so often; sometimes quickly repeating gaps three or four time and at other times only one brief gap spaced several minutes apart. This happens with VLC or another playback like WinMedia Player. Wondering if there’s anything I can do to get rid of this situation in the way of drivers or perhaps codec fixes. OR is the X31 just not robust enough for the challenge of handling audio and visual signals?
