Replacement LCD for T43, which are compatible?

Hello,
I have a T43 1871, with a 14.1" XGA (1024x768) LCD, and it has Bluetooth. The LCD is an LG, serial 92P6726.

The usual thing happened - display is almost pitch black, but you can see it with a flashlight, and works perfectly with an external monitor.

I replaced the inverter (brand new from IBM), with no luck. I'm considering replacing the CCFL, but if I'm too lazy to do that, I'd like to buy a replacement LCD.

My question is, which screens are compatible? I imagine that the whole upper half of the laptop would only work from a Bluetooth-enabled T4x, but what if I just took the LCD panel? Any from a T40, T41, T42 or T43?

Any XGA panel from T4x or R5x will work. If you are not familiar with the procedure, replacing the panel is time-consuming. Getting the antenna wires right is easier after you have done a few. I think I have a bluetooth-equipped xga assembly, but I am out of town until Sunday night so I cannot confirm. PM me if you are interested. Intel-based T43 motherboards (like yours) won't drive sxga screens and most of the screens with bluetooth antennas are sxga+.

Yes, any XGA display will work, you can swap the entire assembly if you like, it's a lot easier and quicker. If you don't find one with the BT antenna, you can swap in yours. That takes a little more time.
