Fn+F3 screen blanking on T60P

#1 Post by behar1 » Fri Apr 24, 2009 6:11 pm

The Fn+F3 screen blanking on my (200793U) T60P doesn't turn off the display when I boot to the Bios setup utility or while in a Dos based program like Ghost,
on my T42p both Fn+F3 and Fn+F4 works even when restoring a ghost image file, any ideas why it works on a T42 and not on T60 :?:

Thanks!

Well, on my T42, Fn+F3 does not work in Windows 7 nor in Windows Vista (IIRC). It does work in XP. To make it work in Linux, I had to install Radeontool.

Basically, I believe the Video driver has to support that hotkey combo. Lenovo tweaks the video drivers they offer to support this feature.
