F6 key sticks down (T41)

hi, is there an easy way to fix this? the upper edge seems to be the problem, the button pops back up when i push the side.

by the way, what does that key do? i only pushed it by accident. thanks

For different programs that button can perform different tasks, but I havent had this problem yet on my T-41
