SDD’s & Thinkpad Hard Drive Password

While browsing the OCZ forums I ran across a post indicating current OCZ drives may not be fully compatible with Thinkpad master/user drive password protection:

Does anyone have any experience with drive passwords while using an SSD? Does it work? (Not being able to thinkpad password protect a drive is a deal breaker for me.)
