Windows messenger

How do I remove/uninstall this program?
Thinkpad X-41 Tablet 1869 CSU- 1.6GHz
Thinkpad T-42P 2373 GUU-2.1 GHz; 2 GB RAM; Mini-dock

Please do post back to say if the site above did the job of removing it because it seems to me there are additional steps to be taken to truly remove it.

There is Windows messenger which came out up to version 4.7 and then MSN messenger currently at 6.2

To remove Windows messenger go to control panel, add/remove programs, then on your left select "add/remove windows components", then uncheck windows messenger.

For MSN messenger go to add/remove program and just remove MSN messenger.

Messenger is tenacious, and loaded with other Microsoft Programs.A simple uninstall will NOT remove it completely....
