I just found the following information posted on another forum. You can search the site below using IE for ATI Windows 7 drivers (as well as drivers for other versions of Windows). I imagine you can search for any number of Windows hardware drivers on that site.

ATI drivers on Microsoft Update Catalog
Re: ATI drivers on Microsoft Update Catalog
That is really helpful. Thank you.GomJabbar wrote:I just found the following information posted on another forum. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to download some of the ATI drivers off of there. They get to something like 99% and then the download fails.
This is both on my ThinkPad T43 w/ Windows 7 on Windows Updates, and a Desktop system with Vista loading up that Catalog. The ATI drivers just won't download for me (I'm trying to grab the Mobility X300 ones).

Re: ATI drivers on Microsoft Update Catalog
But they are also available via windows update, so why bothering with manually downloading and installing them?

They failed to download on Windows Updates. I thought downloading them manually would work.Marin85 wrote:But they are also available via windows update, so why bothering with manually downloading and installing them?
Same download error though. Other stuff downloads fine.

Re: ATI drivers on Microsoft Update Catalog
I've been able to download the Radeon Mobility X300 driver for Windows 7 from the catalog MS update site.
However, I only managed to do it when booting from my Windows 7 installation (build 7000). In Vista with IE7 and IE8 it would not download (immediate failure when commencing download).
