I spilled some coffee on my keyboard yesterday. Fortunately, it was a tiny enough amount of liquid that it didn't get into the guts of the computer, but now a few keys don't work (I'm using a USB keyboard to type for now.)
Before I order a replacement keyboard, is there anything I can do that might fix things? The keys aren't /stuck/ - if I pop them off and push down on the rubber/silicon nipple-thing underneath, no letters show up on the screen. Is it definitely a fried circuit somewhere, then?
Thanks.

Re: troubleshooting broken keyboard
Welcome to the TP forum.
If you can, pop off the keys in the area where the spill was (mark which key came from where!).
Then cleanthat area as best you can with distilled water or isopropyl or isopropanol (from a drugstore or pharmacy).
Do this as soon as possible, before anything 'settles'.
Let it dry for a day or so, or use a hairdryer on medium heat.
Then put the keys back on (can be a fiddle) and test it.
Should work again, unless you had other problems before already.
