WD3200BEVE on X31

#1 Post by Biggs » Sun May 03, 2009 9:36 pm

1) Will the 320GB WD3200BEVE work on a fresh WinXP installation (with integrated SP3) on an X31?
2) Will it be possible to partition the drive from the "Dos-based" screen on WinXP (by pressing F5 immediately after boot)?

If you are talking about a vanilla OEM XP install then you can partition the drive right in the XP setup screens.....no need to fall back to DOS. As an alternative you can use a partitioning tool like gparted (free). The WD3200BEVE should work fine.
