IBM Thinkpad T22 Type 2647 Supervisor password removal?

#1 Post by evanwhitneyx20 » Tue May 05, 2009 1:53 am

well i just recived this laptop from levono123 on here and it has a bios supervisor password. i tried removing the bios battery, and whatnot (didn't think that was going to work) and i read the hmm and it says you have to pay to have the board replaced, (laptop too old don't think thats going to happen and i have no money) so i was wondering what my options are, if worst comes to worst i will give this a shot http://<edited%20out> , not a fan of soldering to a mobo.. :( looks like a fun project tho :) its not very detailed about what wires to solder from the resistors... also if someone has done this or any suggestions im open to your oppions and i would like to get this laptop running really soon... thanks
